Our Accommodation

Sans Souci Gites is our home as well as our business and we seek to make your stay here a magical experience. Our three Gites are very well-equipped to be a home from home, offering excellent holiday accommodation:

  • A choice of two 2 bedroom and one 3 bedroom, up to a maximum of 14 people,
  • Comfortable lounge with both UK and French TV,
  • Fully fitted kitchen,
  • Private secure garden with areas for both relaxing and dining with a gas barbeque,
  • WiFi around the site providing the best connectivity we can deliver in country France,
  • Child safety gates provided for the stairs (we have one cot and two high-chairs available on request), and
  • Secure off-road parking for all our guests.

The communal areas around the pool and front gardens provides plenty of space for everyone. The vista is very tranquil and in the middle of summer the sunflowers add a very magical sight. We have a 6m x 12m heated swimming pool which has a large lounging area with uninterrupted views over the surrounding countryside.

Adjacent to the pool is a communal area which offers shade from the grapevine covered pergola. We have a large communal dining table and a “Chillaxing Zone” with comfortable seating for reading, reflecting or just snoozing throughout the day.

The front of our property offers an area where games are played, including Boules (pétanque) on the driveway and croquet on the lawned area. The area is secure as we ask all guests to keep the electric gates closed when not in use.

We are trying to be environmentally friendly, so we reduce our impact on the planet. To date all the exterior lighting, pool heating and entry gates have been changed to solar power, with interior lighting changed to LEDs. We also recycle as much as we can and provide facilities to make it simple for our guests to make a positive contribution as well.

We are continually making improvements to our estate which extends to over 4000 square meters. Through the summer months we maintain the gardens and pool to ensure that they are presented at their best. We aim to keep noise to a minimum including using battery powered gardening equipment.

Tournesols Availability Calendar

Tournesols is our largest 3 star rated Gite, a spacious three-bedroom high quality gite with its own private rear garden overlooking open countryside with private eating and lounging areas.

Downstairs has a large lounge with WC and a separate spacious fully equipped kitchen /diner There is both French and English TV (Freesat), a DVD player and a music docking station. The lounge has a working log burner for early or late season evenings when things start to cool down. There is free WiFi on site offering the best connection that French country living can offer.

The kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washing machine, and all the required crockery to prepare and deliver home cooked meals.

Upstairs there are two large double bedrooms and a smaller single bedroom. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and an ensuite shower room with sink and WC. The second bedroom can either be made up as a king size double or twin depending on guest personal requirements. The third bedroom is equipped with full sized Ikea bunk beds suitable for children or teenagers. The main bathroom has a large shower, with sink and WC.

Outside there is a private garden to the rear with both an eating and lounging area with high quality furniture, offering uninterrupted views of the countryside. There is a gas barbeque with a gas bottle for your free use. To the front, there is secure off-road parking and the pool, communal and games areas are all just a few steps away.

Tournesols is the perfect Gite for a larger family or two couples and two children.

Wheatfields is our 4 star rated executive Gite, a spacious two-bedroom finished to a high standard it is provided with a fully equipped office/reading room. It has its own private garden overlooking open countryside with secluded eating and lounging areas.
